3 Things: Issue Ten

  1. Read the inspirational letter to the GW community written by Vice Provost for Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement Caroline Laguerre-Brown. Encourage others to read it and be aware of the resources available.

  2. Reflect on the article "Three College Leaders on Hope, Despair, and the Killing of George Floydto identify ways you, as a leader, can help "create hopefulness for all" who you support.

  3. Watch the NBC Today show interview with Dr. Jennifer Eberhardt, author of “Biased” and a social psychologist at Stanford University, for insights into how to examine unconscious biases and create change.

  4. Review this "Checklist for returning to campus: Steps to take to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission" to inform conversations with your team about what makes sense to address the needs of your unit.

  5. Stay informed by listening to the GWSPH and SMPA "Healthy You" podcast series, with Frank Sesno, which explores the public health landscape and how it impacts your personal health and wellbeing. Each episode tackles some of the most pressing health concerns of today.
