CONNECT, DEVELOP, DISCUSS

This fall, the Office of the Provost will host the Inaugural Academic Leadership Conference in September 2022 (date to be announced). This day will celebrate the important work of GW's academic leaders. The conference will include sessions relevant to GW's extended academic leadership community including associate deans, chairs, program directors, vice provosts, and others who support the academic mission.

The focus will be on:

  • Building community and networking across departments, programs and schools

  • Developing leadership skills and reflecting on strategies for being more effective

  • Discussing important topics of interest and sharing best practices and tips

Participants will be able to attend one or more of the sessions throughout the day beginning with a welcome from the host, Christopher Alan Bracey, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs followed by Coffee and Conversation networking to set the tone for a productive day.
